This course is intended for teachers who will be instructing seventh grade students in the One-to-One laptop environment during the 2008-2009 school year. How can Moodle help Kent teachers move forward with One-to-One computing and technology integration? This course will provide answers to that question and help prepare Kent teachers to integrate Moodle into effective teaching and learning practices. Participants will use Moodle as both a learner and an instructor.

Students will learn to read, analyze, and write technical documents common in the workplace, including but not limited to: memos, letters, resumes, policies and procedures, instructions and manufacturing plans, proposals, leaflets and flyers, and business cards.
